During my short distance career (1991-2004, 30 elite victories, Bavarian Champion 1996,first debut ITU World Cup triathlon Lausanne 2000, top 5 European Cup 2001, OD: 1:49h) I had bad days and great triathlons, especially in races where I was able to enter a state of excellence (SOE). When you enter a SOE everything “flows”.

here in this picture I race in the Germany Triathlon Bundesliga representing TSV Oberguenzburg (Allgaeu).

The flow dynamics enabled me to “stretch” my performances and to set myself new and attainable challenges, even during a race I challenges my mind and body to push my limits.

The SOE gives you an intense boost of energy that creates an intense sensation, euphoria and a sense of conviction to have everything to master the task and achieve your goal which need to remain a challenge!

And, it’s because of this SOE we seek new challenges continuously throughout our athletic career and life in general.
